How to read the number
The 4.5 above is the plain arithmetic mean of the 20 reviews on this page. It is not carried over from anywhere else, and it is not the average of a set you cannot see. If you would rather do the sum yourself, the stars fall like this:

Nothing has been held back for reading badly. The four-star notes are mostly about a part that had to be ordered or a job that needed a second call; the three-star ones are about waiting, and about not being warned up front how long a part would take. Those are the entries worth reading first, because they describe what this looks like when it does not run cleanly.
What a review here cannot tell you
It cannot tell you what your repair will cost. The $129 flat diagnostic is flat and credited toward the work; everything after that depends on what the readings find, and it is put in writing before a part is ordered. It also cannot tell you whether your cabinet is worth repairing — that is a readings-and-parts question, answered on the day in your kitchen with the plate in front of us.

Our built-in was cycling every few minutes and the produce drawer felt damp. He found the evaporator fan turning slow on a worn bushing and a drain backed up under the liner. Both fixed that afternoon.

The ice maker had stopped filling and I assumed the whole unit was finished. He checked the inlet screen first and it was solid with scale off our water. Cleaned, tested, and the harvest cycle came back.
