After the repair
What the warranty covers
90 days on labour, 365 days on parts. Genuine OEM parts throughout, and the cover is written on the invoice rather than left to be remembered.
Where the cover begins and ends
The warranty is on the repair we carried out, not on the rest of the appliance. If we replace an evaporator fan motor and the fan motor fails again inside the year, that is ours to put right. If a different component fails afterwards — a door heater, a control board that was working when we left — that is a new fault and a new visit, and we will say so honestly rather than stretch a claim to cover it.
That distinction matters most on older cabinets, where more than one part is near the end of its life. When we can see that during a diagnostic, we tell you at the estimate stage rather than after the invoice, so you can decide whether one repair is worth doing on its own.
What voids it
Very little, and none of it is a technicality. If someone else opens the same repair after we have finished it, we can no longer stand behind the work, because we no longer know what is inside it. Physical damage, a power event that takes out a board we did not supply, or a sealed system that has been opened by another hand are all outside the cover.
Running conditions are the other honest limit. A condenser that is packed solid again six months later, in a house under heavy canopy, is not a failed repair — it is maintenance, and it is cheaper to talk about than to re-diagnose.
Claiming it
Call (904) 664-4866 and say the fault has come back. There is no form and no claim number: the invoice carries the date, the part and the work, and that is the whole record. A warranty return is booked ahead of new work, because a repair that did not hold is more urgent than one that has not started.
$129 flat diagnostic applies to a new fault only. A return visit inside the covered window carries no diagnostic charge at all.
Why it is stated this plainly
Loretto Cold Service is one independent shop working on Sub-Zero refrigeration in Mandarin. A warranty from a business that size is only worth what its wording admits to, so the wording is short and the limits are named rather than buried. EPA Section 608 certification covers the refrigerant handling on any sealed-system claim, which is a federal requirement rather than a manufacturer credential.
The full pricing picture, including what the diagnostic buys you, is on the what it costs page. Questions we are asked most often are answered on the questions page.
Covered work
The repairs this applies to
- Sub-Zero built-in refrigerator repair A cabinet running warm on one side, frost creeping across the freezer wall, or a unit that runs and runs without ever settling down.
- Sub-Zero integrated column repair Panel-ready refrigerator and freezer columns that sit flush with the cabinetry until something moves, ices up or stops responding.
- Sub-Zero undercounter and refrigerator drawer repair The small units in islands, bars and outdoor kitchens, where heat, tight clearance and a long run from the main cabinet make life hard.
- Sub-Zero wine storage repair Dual-zone units where the two compartments have stopped agreeing, humidity has drifted, or the fan has become audible from across the room.
Every one of them is Sub-Zero refrigeration. We work on nothing else, and the full list is short on purpose.
